Some white pills on trans mass shooter and, "why the TN cops had a better response than the Uvalde, TX cops"
Steve Sailer: I suspect that the Nashville cops discussed amongst themselves the shameful response of the Uvalde cops. Perhaps they decided they weren't going to be those guys.
Dadmode Rick: My wife is a teacher and the cops had a meeting with the whole school staff a while ago where they said "what happened in Uvalde will not happen here." A lot of cops around country feel a sense of embarrassment over how the Uvalde cops acted.
These cops at least felt ties to their community and their people and promised them, "it will not happen around here" and then they delivered by acting heroically moving forward into danger to end that danger
This made me cry. I have seen people losing their basic humanity in my own lifetime. I grew up in one of the worst parts of Belfast during the Troubles; sectarian murders were a part of life. But the stuff that goes on now...I honestly think we are living with demons. Recently, for the first time, I have understood a friend’s decision not to have children as she ‘didn’t want to bring a child into this world’. She didn’t want the fear of what might happen to them when she is no longer there to protect them. I have a strong Christian faith and that teaches me that we must prevail, but at times it is hard when you know that things are only getting worse. God bless everyone.
