Great stream. You mentioned Edmund Hillary and the countless lives lost in the Faustian drive to conquer the physical world. Just wondering if you've heard of the sailor Donald Crowhurst about whom the film "The Mercy" is based. Absolutely fascinating story. This documentary about Crowhurst is also excellent. https://youtu.be/SiWv12EL4LE

Speaking of sailing. Why race solo nonstop around the world, in a small boat, only using 1980’s technology for no money?

Why the fuck not?

The people in AI art face the horizon because the data sets they use to train AI with were, for the most part, taken from DeviantArt.com which is shit. Bad artists appear deep by inserting themselves looking into the distance. It is simple, the masses produce shit and the AI is trained with that shit.

It has nothing to do with machines speaking to us from the metaverse and everything with AI being trained with mountains of crap discharged by the masses.

The problem with AI comes from the democratic mindset collecting the datasets. The remedy of course would be to train an AI with only good traditional European art which is something that the dissident right should absolutely do.

Excellent discussion with the equally excellent Auron MacIntyre. I have three questions/requests:

1) Is a sequel with Auron about Spengler´s Hour of Decision planned? I find that book interesting also because it expresses strong dissidence with the new system around Spengler, which criticism some may find surprising.

2) As you mentioned printed books being preferable to electronic media, with which I agree: It would be great to have a POD version of your essays, or at least of some of them. Sure, one can download them and have them printed out, but if you do that in an at least semi-nice format that ends up being more expensive than comparable books from a POD service.

3) I am really looking forward to an in-depth take on AI art. I feel that this is a tremendously difficult task but that there is no one better suited for that job than Morgoth.
