It's wild that Biden told Europe go all in on the war with Ukraine. It has destroyed Germany.
Now Trump is in power again and gives Putin everything he wants and Europe is holding the can.
I'm glad the war is over - it never should have started. I read Boris Johnson was in Ukraine weeks after the war started sabotaging any chance of a resolution.
The elites are responsible for the deaths of millions of white men.
‘There’s no point having power if you’re not prepared to use it’ as the old saying goes. Trump telegraphed the direction he intended to take the US more than a year before any votes were cast. No surprises.
Whilst in hospital recently, I escaped the drab awfulness of it all by watching ‘The Apprentjce’, the Trump biopic that zones in on his tutelage under legendary, terrifying lawyer Roy Cohn. It’s been quite something to observe Trump bludgeon all and sundry in the geopolitical sphere with his ‘art of the deal’ playbook as you rightly say Morgoth. Attack, attack. Admit nothing, deny everything. Always claim victory, never admit defeat, no matter what the outcome. https://youtu.be/t83amb_CRYw?si=NE_6afr-QYEnycDx
It’s a really entertaining watch. Both the actors playing Trump and Cohn have been Oscar nominated - probably because the film doesn’t portray Trump in a flattering light!! Sadly, I expect ‘The Brutalist’ will win everything because ‘muh Holocaust’. I’ve read a fair bit about Cohn over the years and it is he - and not Trump’s parents - that really created Donald J Trump.
Indeed. He was a terrifying individual. He sent the Rosenbergs to the electric chair which made his career. Alan Dershowitz called Cohn ‘the ultimate fixer’, which he really was. The Trump we see now is Cohn’s creation. The film is excellent - both Sebastian Stan as Trump and Jeremy Strong as Cohn.
I lived it! That is literally my teenage years, except I was in Belfast. It is spookily accurate. I went to a church school - establishment figures still very much ruled the roost in Ireland north and south then. The series really recreates the time and place well. I love hearing the accents of course.
Monarchy, despite all its flaws, has long-run incentives that better align Ruler with his subjects versus the rent-extraction and high time preference characteristics of democracies, as noted by Hoppe in “Democracy: the God that Failed”. However, for the foreseeable future we are stuck with the tyranny of majority, which by the Iron Law of Oligarchy (Michels), inevitably devolves into rule by Managerial Elite. Our own Professional Managerial Class, with their utopian globalism Net Zero Green New Deal, WEF 15-minute cities, Vax mandates, and totalitarian thought crime “hate speech” police are far greater threats to us than external invasion from Russia or China. The only way to defang Big Brother is to enforce the forgotten 10th Amendment: radically decentralize away from the federal government in favor of states and municipalities. At least then abused plebeians can meaningfully vote with our feet.
Russia has long referred to America and its suzerainties with a term that translates as "agreement incapable". The West has never, ever honoured its promises and everyone with an ounce of sense knows it. I'm keeping a weather eye on Russia/China making long-term agreements with Trump that indicate they're satisfied that the western elites are going to cycle in such a way that produces coherent governance.
The seat of real power is the Deep State, which is why some people spent a long time doing the "dull work of grey men in grey suits" taking it over. Every dissident sees themselves heroically manning the barricades, yet never wants to put in a forty year slog to conquer the accounts department despite, in the modern age, the spreadsheet being mightier than the sword.
I think a lot of the possible gains of this administration depend, as you say, on whether we get a second and even third republican administration. If we don’t we are up a creek. It won’t be AOC, outside of her cheering section she is box office poison, but a bland centrist or someone pretending to be.
The American people need to never forget some of the disclosures of DOGE, not just the blunders, and give it time. Patience has gone the way of the corset though, that may be asking too much.
It is terrifying for Europe, and not just the bureaucrats unfortunately, they deserve a good shake up, and while I felt all along that Putin needed to be given something to stop the war, he didn’t need everything. The war was caused by us, financed by us, kept going by us and was a tragic and pointless loss of life. Putin had the opportunity to be a Peter the Great type figure in Russian history and chose to be a crook instead.
I can understand resentment and anxiety at the way Europe has been dismissed from the table, but maybe we will be able to help advance freer speech and elections in Europe. You were all on your way to the gulags the way things were headed.
The shifting of gears that is attempting to get underway is most definitely seismic. It really does increasingly seem as though much of this sea shift comes down to 2028, and to JD Vance, whose star feels as though it is steadily rising with each passing week. As long as Trump & co don't screw the pooch while performing a deep clean on the USG, minimum 8 years of a new paradigm has a lot of potential.
We have been America's aircraft carrier since WW2. Our own politicians have facilitated the asset stripping of this country. We have no large industry left or power base to speak of. I don't think we have any cards other than the joker. Our security services seem to import problems to keep themselves busy, creating an enemy for us to worry about or at least it appears that way. Meanwhile, we are left to marinade in fake tories, shitlibs, kosher nationalists, blue haired retards, cock choppers, more bum sex and an ever growing bill to pay for it.
Mr Woodlander has the right approach, fuck all of it and build your own.
I think--let me throw this out here--that Trump is planning more than just setting the stage for a one front war with China; I believe Trump is trying to cut a deal with Russia to join an alliance to fight China--like America did in WW2 with the Soviet Union against Nazi Germany.
From 1939-1941, Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia were defacto allies in WW2, just as Russia and China have been for the last three years. The Nazis divided up Poland with Russia and abandoned the Baltic republics to Stalin.
Before December 7th, 1941, America and the Soviet Union were bitter enemies. America and England cut a deal with Russia that first abandoned Finland to the USSR (who later turned around and had a temporary alliance with Nazi Germany) and waged war on Nazi Germany.
Russia had a non-agression pact with Japan that they honored until August 1945!
Eventually America and England would allow Russia to capture Eastern Europe as part of the deal to destroy Germany and defeat the Nazis.
And now--in my opinion--Trump and his team are prepared to sacrifice continetal Europe (perhaps all the way to the Pyrenees, perhaps even Spain and Portugal) in a bargain with Russia to defeat China.
There are a lot of variables with this; however, I think Trump is preparing for WW3 by creating the GIUK Line (Greenland, Iceland, and the UK) as a barrier/ frontline, pivoting east to face China, and waging war across Asia while Russia attacks on land through Siberia.
I find myself wondering what the alternative would have been. Suppose Kamala came in, where does that leave the war in Ukraine? Ukraine was expected to crumble, then Russia was expected to crumble. 3 years later here we are.

That looks interesting, I'll give that a watch.
I hope you're doing well.
Thank you so much, I’m still here.

I read a biography of Roy Cohn back in the late 80s by Sidney Zion. Incredible.

Always lovely to see a comment from you, God bless you and yours.

Have you watched Derry girls? It's really funny.
We only watched it a few months ago and it's great for belly laughs.

Just a thought, boys.
Just throwing this out there.
I think Ukraine was a done deal before Trump took office, Russia gave up Syria, gets part of Ukraine.
I find myself wondering what the alternative would have been. Suppose Kamala came in, where does that leave the war in Ukraine? Ukraine was expected to crumble, then Russia was expected to crumble. 3 years later here we are.
Hear, hear!
