I think I'll also make a video of this essay, I'll embed the video within the main article. I try not to spam everyone's emails.

I am happy to be spammed by content of this quality. Yet again you have brought something that I am vaguely aware of into focus. The issues we face may seem dire but understanding them can at least alleviate the fear of the unknown and break us out of our ruminations. Excellent content Morgoth, keep it coming.

Brilliant essay. You’ve really hit your stride recently Morgoth, consistently on the nail commentary. The Queen’s death, the on-going Covid vaccine gaslighting, the superb movie review of ‘Cromwell’ and more. Huge thanks for the engaging, intelligent content.

And thank you my lady, I hope all is well down under.

Haha! Yes all good down here..for now. Despicable Dan Andrews has been very quiet of late - he is up for re-election in the State Premiership election in November. I guess he’s busy doing deals as we speak...sadly, I believe he will be re-elected, but with a reduced majority. I’m resigned to the fact that Andrews can do pretty much whatever he wants here and get away with it. The opposition is not clearly enough defined. As with the Federal election in June, Independents will be the big winners but little will change. ‘Meet the new boss, same as the old boss’...Many thanks again 🙏

The degree to which people in "the west" - a euphemism for "white countries" - have come to depend on processes they don't understand and machinery they don't build has fascinated me for years. It always seemed inevitable that a greater and greater detachment from the creation and understanding of tools people use would end badly.

Yet, I suspect that the current rate of decay is too fast to be sustained, and that there is an element of manufacture in this crisis. After all, how will they create personalized banking, bockchain money and social credit if the internet and power grid aren't reliable? It appears there's a conflict there.

On the subject of food shortages, however, there is one aspect I haven't seen discussed. Most African countrues are dependent on food aid. Now that migration routes have been firmly established, and Non-Government Organisations (a cute name for organisations that work for the government) are in place to keep those routes open, what will happen when the Africans begin to starve? Won't they begin to migrate north in numbers that make established migration look like a trickle? I can't imagine a modern famine would play out like in the 80s, when they just stayed put and starved.

It's worth bearing in mind also that European supranational technocrats have for decades been obsessed with the fusion of Europe and Africa, in Europe. Maybe I'm on the wrong track, but, if this happens, what institutional power would have the will to stop it?

A related issue is whether or not we will be able to support the immigrants already here.

Check out "Tochi Esther" on YouTube. An African lady who's videos mostly consist of advice on how to pass/cheat immigration law, job interviews and such. She's doing very well for herself: 2 Mercedes Benz apparently and a nice house in Cheshire. The comments are full of Africans wanting to know how to claim for their children when they get here, how many family members they can bring when they come here to "study" and all the tricks and half-lies to use. As you say, life in many African countries is getting harder and millions of them are coming here, to Canada, to America, anywhere that they can get the most out of a system they've never paid into.

The Locusts follow the green, they devour until its gone and then they move on leaving nothing. The farmer that tended the land and grew the crops is left with stubble. The locusts are coming.

Perfect. This is the most creative, astoundingly well-written essay you have ever written. This is why you need writings like this published in a book. Once those precarious, sea-weed and barnacle covered cables break down, all those words will be lost, like tears in the rain...

I'm going with Lady of Shalott as below ., even though she is a Victorian Autsralian., .. "Brilliant essay. You’ve really hit your stride recently Morgoth, consistently on the nail commentary. I hope you do a video to this as it’s truly exceptional, I’ve read it three times now. The thinking behind it is honestly something I’m just not used to.

Apologies for sounding like a crawling cunt but you really are a national treasure. In a normal world this would be getting shared far and wide.
